Currently I offer virtual and in-person individual therapy. My in-person sessions are limited and fill quickly. I am under the supervision of bereavement counselor David Labrum as I am an LMHCA. As such, I cannot accept insurance at this time.
All services are self-pay at $90/session.
Why self-pay? While insurance helps with some costs, it often comes with trade-offs. For example, insurance requires a diagnosis that will remain on your medical record and can limit your treatment options. Many clients choose private pay because it ensures complete confidentiality, no labels on their health record, and full freedom to shape therapy around their needs- not insurance guidelines.
You can choose to pay by check, card, or cash. I offer limited spaces for sliding scale fees if this is needed.
As a grief counselor, I offer compassionate, expert support to individuals and organizations navigating loss. I provide grief-informed education to schools and organizations, helping staff understand and respond to grief in developmentally appropriate and emotionally supportive ways. In the aftermath of a death or crisis, I am available to visit schools and communities to offer on-site support and guidance. I also consult with fellow therapists seeking to deepen their work with grieving clients and offer training in the use of death-friendly language—equipping professionals with tools to speak about loss with honesty, care, and sensitivity.
